Manual is a book about hands. It contains some ninety images and inserts produced by using techniques such as gold blocking, silver blocking, die-cut, letterpress, photostat, rubbing, cave painting, laser cutting, blowtorching, wood-inlay-making, sandblasting, calligraphy; many involving hand-work.

An exhibition about the book was shown at Nagoya University of Arts, Bedales Gallery, Brighton University Gallery and Pentagram in London.
